Cincinnati's Unique Climate and the Need for Expert Ductless AC Installation

Cincinnati's location in the Ohio River Valley subjects the city to extreme seasonal temperature fluctuations, high humidity, and corrosive particulates in the air. These environmental stressors can cause thermal fatigue in gas furnace heat exchangers and oxidative degradation of outdoor condenser fins. At Mason Heritage Air, we understand the importance of considering these factors when designing and installing ductless AC systems. Our team uses advanced technical diagnostics, including Subcooling and Superheat diagnostics, External Static Pressure gradients, and Psychrometric dehumidification cycles, to ensure optimal system performance.

The Midwestern climate also poses unique challenges, such as biological growth in dark evaporator cabinets during prolonged humidity cycles, secondary heat exchanger fouling in high-efficiency furnaces, and frozen condensate drain lines during Polar Vortex events. Our experts are well-versed in addressing these issues and providing tailored solutions to mitigate them. We also prioritize MERV-rated filtration efficiency and ECM motor torque curves to guarantee the best possible air quality and system efficiency.
